Aging Well, Together
Stories, science, and connection at the heart of intergenerational health and well-being.
Start by Exploring These
Aging is a Universal Story.
How We Tell It — That’s Up to Us.

Intergenerational
Models in Practice
Understanding, empathy, and co-creation across age groups.
This theme explores how people of different generations connect, learn from each other, and create together. It highlights the emotional and social shifts that occur when people move from assumptions to genuine understanding.
Understanding Across Ages
The Power of Co-Creation
Reframing Healthy Aging
Dive into the science and practice of aging well. These pieces unpack longevity, mental health, mobility, purpose — and what it truly means to thrive across the lifespan. This area brings together research on aging as a multidimensional process: physical, emotional, social, and structural. It’s about dignity, agency, and how systems can better support the aging journey.
Topics include: longevity studies, ageism in healthcare, purpose in later life, and community resilience.

Lived Experience
& Narrative Inquiry
Real voices, shared experiences. These stories come from across generations, cultures, and communities — reminding us that aging is more than biology; it’s deeply human. These voices offer insight into how people feel about aging, and how their experiences can inform better policy and practice.
Includes qualitative research, oral histories, and thematic storytelling from diverse aging populations.
Ongoing Research
Suga, founder of Udanoo, leads research on intergenerational relationships, well-being, and healthy aging—especially in prevention.
Focusing on isolation, resilience, and social cohesion, her work examines how communities can create environments where all ages feel seen, supported, and valued. She studies what builds emotional safety, purpose, and belonging to reduce loneliness and support mental and emotional health. Current areas of inquiry include:
-
What enables genuine understanding and empathy across age groups?
-
What drives rising loneliness today, and what effectively restores meaningful connection?
-
How does caring for mental, physical, and energetic well-being support stronger relationships?
-
What makes a space feel safe, welcoming, and open for honest conversation?
-
How does co-creating, rather than simply participating, shape people’s experiences?
-
What signals authentic connection, and how does it influence well-being and daily life?
This is an evolving body of work. I'm always learning, listening, and refining these ideas through conversation and collaboration.
If you’re interested in contributing, collaborating, or simply staying connected—whether you're a fellow researcher, community member, student, or someone with lived experience—I’d love to hear from you.
